Bitcoin is a fascinating peer to peer network forming an online currency. It also happens to be one of my hobbies besides Ruby.
The story is, that my hobbies occasionally meet and decide to do something together. Last time Ruby and Bitcoins decided to build a simple wallet library.

The approach I have taken is to make advantage of the work already done in the Java world. Using JRuby, I bring together the bitcoinj Java-library and the Ruby programming language.
